(Daisy) Walters Home
The Walters Home is owned by the Wood County Board of DD. Wood Lane Residential Services, Inc provides the services to the 4 ladies living here. This home is licensed by the Ohio Department of DD. The home itself is lovely and spacious and nicely decorated by the ladies who live here. It is located on a quiet street in a nice neighborhood in Bowling Green.
The home was named the daisy Walters home in recognition of Daisy Walters concern of citizens in Wood County with DD. Daisy Walters was a teacher at Wood Lane School.
The Walters Home is a very active and fun home. The 4 ladies who live there love to be busy. They enjoy walks, music, festivals, fairs, movies and of course going out to eat. They also love going to sporting events, especially BGSU ladies basketball! The ladies are very health conscious and watch what they eat and make it a point to exercise at least 3 times per week. They are lucky to have exercise equipment, a Wii Fit and a great room in which to use them.
The staff are very dedicated to the health and safety of the residents and are committed to helping them live full and happy lives!
