| At Wood Lane Residential, we provide services to help individuals and their families in a variety of ways. We take the time to get to know each individual so that we may represent him or her and help fulfill his or her interests and goals. We aid in residential placements, medical and psychosocial needs, programming and employment opportunities.
We strive to ensure a comfortable home with community supports for all individuals, and to continually provide support and reassurance for families and friends. We serve as the primary contact for parents, guardians and family members and help to address any concerns that may arise.
The following is a short list of the areas in which our agency provides support to individuals and families:
- resident placement, employment, medical needs, programming and psychosocial needs
- personal growth opportunities and issues
- guardianship issues (assessment of guardianship need and family assistance through the court process)
- future planning
- personal concerns, issues, resident rights and responsibilities
- tours and visits at homes and apartments
- assistance with the individuals transition to a new home
- counseling services and referrals for counseling services
- progress updates
