The Pickard home is located in Bowling Green. It is home to 4 ladies with IO waivers. The Pickard home is owned by Wood Lane Residential Properties.

This home opened in July 1995. It was named the Mark Pickard home 9/30/01 to recognize Mark Pickard’s support of WLRS through his involvement of the Perrysburg Knights of Columbus. Through the Knights, Mark has helped raise money to assist WLRS. The Knights also hold an annual Hoop Shoot as a competition for the residents. The current location is the second location for this home. They moved to a bigger home that could accommodate an additional individual.

Their motto: “Girls just wanna have fun!!” and they attest that it’s never the same day twice at the Pickard Home…

The excitement about Christmas is especially great in this home. One of the ladies has a huge Santa collection and all the ladies look forward to the Christmas Season. Other holidays receive the same attention. There is always a holiday celebration at the Pickard home.

• One of the ladies is working with a tutor to learn to read. This is a personal goal for her!
• This is home of an avid card player. One of the ladies loves to play cards and often teaches her card club new games.
• All three ladies love to shop!

• One of the ladies is always involved in athletic activities. So there is always a Special Olympic event to look forward to.
