Evers Home
The Evers home is located in Bowling Green. The home was opened in December 1995. It is owned by the Wood Lane Residential Properties Board and has been home to one man with an IO waiver since March 2002.

The man who lives in this home is always thinking up new and better ways to do things. He lives by the motto: “If you break it, bring it here and I would love to try to fix it.” These creative energies keep the staff on their toes!

The man who lives at the Evers Home is very busy. He is a member of the Wood One Wheeler’s group. He rides his unicycle in many parades throughout the year. He recently rode in the BG Holiday parade with WOW. He also participates in many Special Olympic events and he reached out to help in his community this year by planning and participating in a car wash and donating the proceeds to Habitat for Humanity. Overall 2008 has been a memorable year for the Evers home.

The next year should prove exciting, as he will likely be moving. This home will move to another location, so that a roommate can be moved in to help with the expenses and provide companionship. This is a long anticipated event.
