(Troas) Dunn Home

The Dunn Home has been home to 8 men and women in Bowling Green since June 4, 1993. It is owned by Wood Lane Residential Properties and is licensed by the Ohio Department of DD and certified an ICF/MR by the Ohio Department of Health.

On June 13, 1993, the home was named in honor of Mrs Troas Dunn, one of the first teachers at Wood Lane School. These foundation years of Wood Lane School were monumental in developing the excellent program we have today. Mrs Dunn’s dedication and commitment aided in creating what we now know as Wood Lane.

The consumers and the staff are a group of fun loving people! If you walk past the Dunn Home be prepared to hear lots of joking and laughing going on!

The men and women at Dunn have joined the Elder Homes to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association of Northwest Ohio, sponsoring Brownies for a Buddy, A Ride to Remember Bike run, selling paper For-get - Me-Not flowers, participate in the Memory Walk and many other activities. We look forward to getting more involved in giving back to the community in events that have affected our lives and the lives of our loved ones!

Fun Facts
  • At the Dunn Home tornado drills are, "party in the bathrooms" - so we play cards and games to relax during bad weather!
  • We have a "Secret Garden" of plants on the back patio! All planted with the limited assistance of staff.
