(David C) Miller Home

The Dave Miller Home is located in Bowling Green. It is licensed by the Ohio Department of DD. Dave Miller is home to 4 men and women and it opened on September 26, 1999.

On September 30, 2001, the home was dedicated the David C Miller home to show our gratitude to Dave Miller, editor of the Sentinel Tribune. Dave Miller has been a strong advocate for Wood Lane for many years. He has held positions on both the County’s 169 Board as well as the WLRS Board, joint Board committees and HUD Boards.

The Dave Miller home’s motto encompasses Wood Lane Residential Services, Inc’s vision: “We truly try to make a house feel like a home.”

The men and women living at the Dave Miller Home feel that their lovely backyard makes them stand out from all other homes. They enjoy spending time outside, especially in the summer.

In the last year, the Dave Miller home boasts the extremely successful Med Administration survey conducted this year by the WCBMRDD nursing department. The survey, held every 3 years, looks closely at the procedures and actual process of med administration in the home. No issues were found!

To beautify the home this year, the hard wood floors were refinished. To accomplish this task, the men and women had to take a week vacation. The vacation was a huge success and this was the first time all four men and women spent a week away from home together. The floors look beautiful and the vacation was a nice break from the every day.
